''All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy'', so to make our students to take a short break From their regular academics, Annual sports meet -2019 was organized, With the divine blessing of Parama Poojya Jagadaguru Padma Bhushana Sri Sri Sri Dr.Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji , coupled with the divine Presence of Parama Poojya Jagadaguru Sri Sri Sri Dr.Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji and Sri Sri Sowmyanatha Swamiji ,the much awaited Annual Sports Day was held on Tuesday 23rd, AUGUST, 2019 with great zeal and excitement.
The invited guests received the salute by the impressive March Past of the students combined with stirring marching music by the band. The Jamboree initiated with the traditional inauguration followed by torch bearing ceremony coupled with colorful unleashing of tri color balloons.
Mr. Laksmeesh M National Fencing Champion, triggered the essentials of sportsmanship in students and addressed the participants with his engrossed words. Sri Sri Sowmyanatha Swamiji officially inaugurated the programme and graced the occasion.
The students entered the spirit of competition in a grand way by taking the oath. Once the race began the air was filled with cheering tone of encouragement for the young players.
Gold medals are not really made of gold, they are made of sweat and determination, to honor such hard work , the valedictory was systematized. with gracious presence of the Holy soul Paramapoojya Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri. Dr Nirmalanandanatha Maha Swamiji. In his valedictory address Maha Swamiji emphasized the importance of resource, time and hard work with positive attitude to achieve success. He also ignited the importance of sports in life.
With this, students were encouraged to engage in sports efficacious on regular basis. ACP Dharmendra, G M Kumar BTV director, B A Ramesh BEO , Charan Kumar S K Principal BGS PU College Mhalakshmipuram shared joyful moments on stage. The deepest carving of human nature is the need of being appreciated, to encourage the spirit of participation in students, they were honored with medals and certificates.
The Championship Trophy of Annual sports Meet 2019 was bagged by PU 2 Inspire Science batch. It was a spectacular moment for team BGS.
